Do scheduled payments from bare trust savings accounts earn interest?
We pay interest on balances as of 5pm UK time. When your customer submits a withdrawal request between 12pm-5pm, those funds will continue to earn interest until they are paid out the following working day.
For example, if your customer requests a withdrawal of £500 at 12:01pm on a Friday, that £500 will keep earning interest until the payment is processed on Monday.
You can see our payment schedule for more information.
