What is a primary account?
Your primary account is your first operational account with Griffin. We’ll open it by default when you sign up in our sandbox or live environment.
Your primary account cannot be closed while you’re a Griffin customer, but you can rename it. Your primary account will always be used for a few key functions:
- Automatic billing
- Commission payments
- Interest payments for safeguarded funds (if applicable)
Apart from this, your primary account functions exactly like a regular operational account and can be used for all the same purposes.
