What proof of income (POI) documents does Verify accept?
We accept the following proof of income documents:
- 3 months' bank statements—must clearly show the sort code, the account number, the account holder's name, and deposits to the account. Must be at the customers application address or come with an explanation as to why they differ
- 3 or months or payslips—must show name of recipient and company
- Solicitor Letter for sale of property—must be on headed paper and show the number and address of the solicitor's firm. Must show the solicitors name for manual verification if needed
- Investment statements—to show the original investment and withdrawal
- Accountants letter- to show the customers assets and liabilities
- Pension statement—must show the name of the customer and total value or monthly value of the fund. Must be at the customers application address or come with explanation as to why they differ
- Company Accounts—at least the last 2 years must be provided, clearly showing turnover of the business as an income. Must be audited accounts or issued by an accountant.
